Dermal Fillers

One of the most preferred methods in non-surgical aesthetic applications is filler applications. There are too many filler types on the market. The fillers we prefer are "Hyaluronic Acid" based temporary fillers.

Fillers can be applied to many areas of the face.

Different purposes are targeted depending on the application area and techniques. Fillers can be used for anti-aging purposes, as well as for young individuals to achieve a more aesthetic and attractive face.

The areas where fillers are most commonly applied on the face are; lips, cheeks, under the eyes, on the cheekbones, the tip of the chin and the jawline.

Lip filler

One of the most important elements of beauty and attractiveness is the lips. Lip filler is often preferred to achieve the ideal lip shape and volume. The most important issue here is to create a natural and attractive lip shape with the application. Since each lip structure is different, the application should also be personalized. Adapting generally accepted aesthetic criteria to the person is the most important step in lip filler.

Cheek (cheekbone) filler

The midface (middle 1/3 of the face) region is the most prominent part of the face. With cheekbone filler, an aesthetically pleasing appearance is achieved by adding volume to the midface region.

Under-eye filler

The under-eye region is a very sensitive area and filler is applied to the under-eye region in limited cases. Especially people with a hollowness called tear trough deformity in the under-eye region benefit from this procedure.

Nose-cheek edge lines (Nasolabial) filler

With aging, the voluminous tissue in the middle 1/3 of the face shifts downward under the effect of gravity. This displacement has two consequences. The first is the prominence of the under-eye hollow, and the second is the prominence of the cheek-nose line (nasolabial line). The depth of this line is reduced with filler applications to this area. Nasolabial filler gives the person a younger, more dynamic and lively expression.

Nose filler

Those who do not dare to have a nose job or those who have minor deformities in their nose after nose job often prefer nose filler. It is an application that completely eliminates the need for revision nose aesthetics, especially in certain cases. Aesthetic improvements can be made especially in the root of the nose, nose dorsum and nose tip with nose filler.

Chin filler

The jaw line is made more pronounced with chin filler, and if the chin is recessed, it is brought forward. Bringing the jaw line to the desired level is a situation that increases attractiveness.

Correction of fine lines

Superficial wrinkles occur on the skin with aging. Some of these wrinkles can be corrected with fine fillers to eliminate the signs of aging.

Filling applications should be performed by experienced doctors. These seemingly innocent applications can lead to serious complications in inexperienced hands. For this reason, experienced doctors always try to use as little filler as possible when performing a filling. Because most complications are dose-dependent.

In addition, there are many filler brands on the market. Using quality fillers should always be preferred both in terms of results and complications.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is it painful to have a filler ?

The fillers we use contain local anesthetic active ingredients to reduce pain. In addition, local anesthetic creams are applied to the application area before the application to minimize pain.

2. How long will the filling I have done last?

As the amount of cross-linking between molecules in the filler used increases, both the density and permanence of the filler increase. Different densities of filler should be used depending on the application areas. While less dense filler is used in superficial applications, more dense filler is used in deep applications. Therefore, the permanence of each application is different. In other words, superficial applications are less permanent, while deep applications are more permanent. The permanence of lip filler is 12 months on average, while this is 9 months under the eyes and 18 months on the cheeks.

3. Are there any side effects of having fillers?

The most common unwanted situation after filling is temporary bruising and edema due to injection. This situation is quite rare in applications performed by experienced people. Apart from this, various unwanted situations may occur depending on the application area. In those who have frequent cold sores, it is necessary to apply cold sore prevention treatment before lip filling. Very rarely, blood circulation may be disrupted and tissue damage may occur in the application of the filler inside/around the vein. This situation is quite rare and permanent damage is usually prevented by early intervention after the procedure and the filler is dissolved.

4. What should be taken into consideration after having a filler ?

After the filler, there will be numbness due to the local anesthetic substance in the filler, so it is necessary to avoid hot and cold contact. Especially after lip filler, smoking should not be done for three days. Massage is recommended for the first 3 days as described after the filler. This massage ensures a more homogeneous distribution of the filler.
