One of the most preferred aesthetic operations by women today is breast reduction surgery. Breasts can become larger than normal due to various factors such as weight gain, hormonal imbalances, giving birth, and breastfeeding.
The inability to wear all clothes comfortably, the inability to move comfortably, the formation of bra marks on the shoulders due to breast size, redness and skin infections under the breasts, neck, shoulder, back and waist pain are the problems experienced due to large breasts.
Breast reduction surgery brings the breasts to the desired size and provides a more aesthetically beautiful appearance. The functional properties of the breasts are also preserved during the reduction.
In my personal practice, I prefer central technique breast reduction surgery. The biggest advantage of this technique is that the breast tissue can be easily shaped within itself. Another reason for my preference is that it can be easily and safely applied to breasts of all sizes. The most important factor in choosing a technique is the surgeon's experience and dexterity in this regard.
There are scars in the form of a vertical line that runs downward around the nipple, followed by a horizontal line under the breast. These scars resemble an upside-down “T” and are called the inverted T technique. A corset must be worn for one month after the surgery. The use of a corset limits edema in the breasts and provides pain control. The effect of gravity on the breasts is reduced and tension is prevented.
