There are two main variables in the breast. One is volume and the other is skin envelope. Different combinations of these two variables create different aesthetic surgical requirements.
Breast lift surgery with implants is a relatively complicated surgery that combines two different surgical approaches in the same surgery.
Medium and long-term changes must be calculated. Especially when choosing an implant, skin quality and elasticity must be evaluated well. Low skin quality is always more sensitive to external factors such as gravity. Large, heavy implants should not be preferred in such breasts. Another problem, excess skin, should be removed with the right amount of time. Since the lower half of the breast will carry the weight of the implant, the skin tension and length of that area should be carefully adjusted.
First, the envelope where the implant will be placed is opened. The implant of the desired size is placed. Then, the sagging skin is lifted and the surgery is completed. It is recommended to use a corset for one month after the surgery. The corset limits the edema caused by the surgery and speeds up recovery. Returning to social life is possible one week after the surgery.
