There are two different methods used to give the buttocks a more aesthetic appearance and increase their volume. One of these methods is fat injection into the buttocks. The other method is the buttock implant.
For fat injection to the buttocks, liposuction must first be performed. By performing liposuction on the entire body, both sufficient fat grafts are obtained and body shaping is performed. The fat grafts obtained also add volume to the buttocks and a more aesthetic appearance is achieved.
The buttock implant is placed between the buttock muscle like a sandwich, increasing the buttock volume and giving the buttocks a more aesthetic appearance.
Buttock implant and buttock fat injection methods can be applied separately or combined. Fat injection cannot be done at every point in the buttock. In particular, fat injection to the inner and lower parts where the veins are rich is risky in terms of fat embolism, which is a fatal complication. In such cases, volume increase is provided in the inner-lower part with buttock implant. The implant cannot be intervened on the sides of the buttock. Buttock shaping can be done in a combined way by fat injection to these areas.
Buttock implant and buttock fat injection surgeries are performed under general anesthesia. For the implant, a 5cm long incision is required inside the buttock groove. Since the incision remains inside the groove, the scar is not visible. Since fat injection is performed with the help of cannulas, small incisions are sufficient. Since these incisions are very small, they do not cause any aesthetic problems.
