Preparing Your Luggage

• Take comfortable clothes with you. Choose loose-fitting, button-down clothes and pajamas that you can wear comfortably, especially after surgery.
• Basic care products (toothbrush, toothpaste, daily care products) are available at the hotel where you will be staying. However, if you have a special preference, it would be useful to bring it with you.
• If you need to take any medications with you, be sure to bring an adequate supply of them.

Electrical infrastructure

• Electrical outlets in Turkey are Type F (Continental European type) and the voltage is 220 Volts.
• Make sure you bring the appropriate adapter or converter for your electronic devices.

Currency and Payments

• The official currency in Turkey is the Turkish lira (TRY).
• You can exchange foreign currency at exchange offices or use your credit card.
• Before you travel, be sure to check that your credit card is open to international spending and that your spending limit is sufficient. Contact your bank if necessary.

Travel Documents

• Make sure to check the validity date of your passport and your visa status.
• Before the surgery, do not forget to bring any documents requested by us (test results, reports, etc.) with you.

• When you land in Istanbul, our pre-organized VIP transfer team will be waiting for you.

Hotel Settlement

• When you arrive at your hotel, our team has made a reservation for you in advance so that you can quickly check in at the reception. If you experience any problems, even minor ones, during check-in, you can contact our team immediately.
• We recommend that you stay at your hotel to relax and have a comfortable first night in the city.
• For your urgent needs, there is the Emaar Shopping Mall within a five-minute walk of your hotel. 

• Avoid heavy meals, do not consume spicy and hard-to-digest foods.
• You should not eat or drink anything, including water, after the specified time (the time specified by our team is critical. If you do not follow this rule, your surgery will either be postponed or completely canceled).
• Stay away from habits that negatively affect recovery, such as alcohol and cigarettes.
• If possible, take a shower before going to bed. Be sure to pay attention to the additional recommendations given to you by our team.
• Try to go to bed early and get a good night's sleep. It will be very beneficial for you to be mentally and physically rested before the surgery.

Transfer to Hospital

• It is very important that you are ready at the specified time.  Your transfer to the hospital will be made by our VIP vehicle.
• The clothes you will take with you; After the surgery, you should wear loose, comfortable clothes that are easy to wear, button or zip in the front.

• Welcome at the Hospital

• When you arrive at the hospital, our team will greet you there and your registration will be done quickly.
• After your pre-operative tests are taken, you will meet with the anesthesiologist to check your general health and you will be informed about the anesthesia process.

Taking to the Room and Preparing for the Surgery

• You will be seated in the room allocated to you and wear a gown suitable for the surgery.
• Your photos will be taken for medical documentation and the necessary forms will be signed by you.
• Doctor Celal will visit you in your room and inform you about the surgery in parallel with your previous meeting. Your pre-operative examination will be performed and a drawing will be made if necessary.

Taking You into Surgery

• You will be given a sedative in your bed while you are going to the operating room. This way, after the surgery, you will only remember that you left your room and went to the operating room.
• You will not remember the operation process due to the anesthesia.

The First Hours and Pain Control

• Pain management is done with painkillers in the recovery room and then in your room. Although the level of pain varies from person to person, it is under control with medication.
• It may take some time for you to fully recover; our teams will be following you continuously during this process.

Doctor Visit and Information

• After the surgery, Dr. Celal visits your room and shares information about the operation with you.
• The medications you will use, dressing and control schedule are explained to you in detail and the medications are delivered.

First Night Accommodation in the Hospital

• It is generally recommended that you spend the first night in the hospital, rest and follow up.
• Discharge procedures are carried out the next day with the doctor's approval.

Transfer to Hotel

• After discharge, you will be taken back to the hotel where you will stay with our VIP transfer vehicle.
• Our team is always reachable by phone during this process.

Control Appointment

• The first post-operative check-up will be done at Dr. Celal’s clinic.
• Our VIP transfer vehicle will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to our clinic on the specified date and time.

Control Examination and Final Recommendations

• Your stitches, dressing and general recovery process will be evaluated.
• Dr. Celal will remind you of all the issues you need to pay attention to and determine the next check-up date.

Return/Transfer to Hotel

• After the check-up, you will be taken to your hotel or to the airport if you plan to return on the same day by a VIP vehicle.

You can visit famous structures such as Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Mosque and Topkapi Palace in the Historical Peninsula. You can have a colorful shopping experience in the Grand Bazaar and do not leave without trying the unique flavors of Turkish cuisine such as kebab, baklava and Turkish delight.
